Slim Devil-Wide and Slim in Las Vegas

I spent a week in Las Vegas Recently. I took the Vivitar Wide and Slim camera with me and some 200 iso film. Ok lets be honest, when I was done I had taken 12 rolls in total and even bought and extra camera there. Here are a few samples from the Vivitar I originally took.

Night Photography

Tried out some flashless/long exposure with a blackbird fly camera and and Holga 135

Shot 3 rolls today. Wish it was more but now it is time for pizza, beer and a DVD.

New Camera: Zenit 412ls

I bought 2 new cameras. The first one is the Zenit 412ls, a russian made camera with decent optics so far. It is 35 mm fully manual save a light meter which I am not sure is reliable yet. although it looks plastic, the frame is solid metal construction. I could bludgeon someone with this bad boy in self defense. Here are some test shots I took on a rainy day. I had no flash with me.

Community Gardens

Community Gardens are a great idea. I wish one was in my area. I saw this one downtown and decided it was fun for a few photos.

Botanical Garden

I went back to the botanical gardens and here are a few of my favorite pics.

New Camera

Bought a new camera. It is 35mm with a wide angle lens. Took it out last weekend. Here are some of the results.

Waikiki from a different perspective

I know I have been taking a lot of pictures in Waikiki but it seems to be where I am at on the weekends.

Developed 7 rolls of film yesterday. Now it is a matter of scanning and getting them posted.
